  3. Thanks for the fun giveaway!!! I like shorter stories and novellas b/c I haven't had the time to sit down and read a full length novel. This gives me something to relax with and also gives me a good taste of an author so I will usually buy novellas if I'm contemplating buying the author's books. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Short stories are perfect for those times that you just need a quick fix, like when you know you there's something else you NEED to be doing. I also love when I come across one that absolutely astounds me at how powerful it is. I think it shows a great deal of talent for an author to provoke strong emotions from you in just a few words. My favorite read of 2013 was a novella.

  5. Short stories and novellas are perfect when you only have a short time to read or something to breakup the longer reads. I like short stories to because they allow you to get a feel for a new author as well.
