About the Book:

Tori is a career woman at the top of her game. She has everything she ever wanted except a happily ever after. She is ready and determined to find it. When her friend Ariana offers her an invitation to an exclusive online dating service, she decides—against her better judgment—to use it.

A blast from her past is not what she expects.

When Jack realizes he’s been set up with the one woman he’s failed to forget, he has two choices: leave or stay. Life doesn’t give second chances this easy, and it isn’t above him to let go of an opportunity such as this. After all, there cannot be a sweeter revenge.

An exclusive online dating agency, a night one stand with someone from the past and a friends with benefits situation that gets way out of control make up part of the fun in Evie Knight’s A Wicked Game.  A smoking hot romance with great chemistry, well developed characters and plenty of emotional angst, Ms. Knight’s story kept me turning the pages to discover what would happen next.  If you’re looking for a quick, smoking hot and sexy read – this is the book you’re going to want to read next!

A successful editor of a fashion magazine, Tori has everything she ever wanted; except for a happily ever after when it comes to romance.  Accepting her friend’s dare to swap places on an exclusive online dating service, Tori expects nothing more than a one night stand. She never expected someone from her past to be her “date”.  A man who might want revenge for a college prank gone wrong.

A successful businessman and IT expert, Jack receives and accepts an invitation from an exclusive online dating service.  He never expected Tori, his college nemesis, to be his date.  He also never thought he’d want her for more than a one night stand

Ms. Knight does a good job developing both Tori and Jack’s characters.  While they are both successful when it comes to work, they’ve both had issues developing lasting romantic relationships.  Partly because of an incident that occurred between them in college.  While they can’t, and don’t, deny their instant sexual attraction neither one wants to admit to themselves that they are looking for more than sex.  As the story develops and their relationship begins to go from friends with benefits into something more, they both face fears of rejection and vulnerability.

Will Jack and Tori’s relationship get a real chance despite their fears?  Will they forgive each other for their mistakes and take a chance on a future together?  You’ll have to read A Wicked Game to find out.  I enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next book in this series.
